Party Poppin is built on a simple belief: you should be in complete control of your social presence. We connect people who choose to connect — nothing more.
Every piece of content you create — posts, check-ins, stories, scenes — has its own visibility setting. Public, friends only, or completely private. You decide, every time.
Share with everyone, just your followers, a specific list of people, or keep it entirely to yourself. Party Poppin never forces you to broadcast to people you didn’t choose.
We only use your location when you explicitly check in or drop a scene. We never track you in the background. "Discoverable" check-ins are off by default — you turn them on when you want to be found.
When you assign a Safety Buddy during a check-in, only that person receives a notification. Nobody else sees it. It’s a personal safety tool, not a broadcast.
Your Flirts list is entirely private. The people you’ve added can never see they’re on your list, and no one else can see your list either. It’s your personal wishlist.
Direct messages are private between participants. Group chats are only visible to members. We don’t read, sell, or analyze your private conversations.
We only collect data you provide. We don’t build profiles on non-users or share your data with advertisers. Party Poppin is funded by the community it serves.
You can delete your posts, check-ins, stories, and scenes at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your data. No ghost archives.
Visible to all Party Poppin users and searchable on the map. Use for scenes and posts you want the community to discover.
Visible only to people who follow you (or mutual follows, depending on your setting). Good default for personal moments.
Share with a specific group you’ve created — your crew, your close friends, your regulars. Coming in a future update.
Only visible to you. Great for saving a scene for yourself, drafting a post, or keeping a personal record of your check-ins.
Party Poppin exists to help you find your people, discover the scene, and make real memories in the real world. In return, we ask every member to uphold these standards:
Profile info you provide, content you post, check-ins you make, and basic usage analytics (screen views, feature usage — no personal identifiers).
No. We will never sell your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
Only when you actively use location features (check-in, drop scene, Here Now). Never background tracked.
Active account data is kept as long as your account exists. Deleted content is removed from our systems within 30 days. Account deletion triggers full data removal.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase with row-level security — each user can only access their own data by default.
